A week after being let go by the woeful Chicago White Sox, Pillar signed on with the Angels shortly after it was announced Mike Trout would be needing knee surgery for a torn meniscus. He's been tearing the cover off the ball ever since, and recorded his 1000th career hit on May 19th.
Saw that he had a 14 game hitting streak... where he was averaging over .400 and over an RBI per game.
