Trapped In Time: Remnants Of the 126th - 130th Trades

Some times you just got to cycle things out. The following cards have been in the Time Travel Trading stack for over 3 years without any interest. Their space in the box is better served by newer cards coming in that have an increased chance at becoming trades. It's the last chance for these cards, otherwise they'll get pulled from the project and added to my own personal collection.

Trade #126 Bo (Baseball Cards Come To Life!)
Traded 10/22/21: 2020 Topps Allen & Ginter - Mini Behemoths Beneath #MGB-17 Giant Clam, 2014 Topps - 1963 Mini (football) #213 Jimmy Garoppolo, 2014 Topps - 1963 Mini (football) #226 Zach Mettenberger, 2014 Topps Chrome Mini (football) #203 C.J. Mosley, 2012 Topps - 1987 Topps Minis #TM-38 Chase Utley, 2012 Topps Update - 1987 Topps Minis #TM-149 Giancarlo Stanton, 1997 Fleer Goudey #91 Rashaan Salaam, 1997 Fleer Goudey #114 Jim Everett, 1997 Fleer Goudey #123 Jason Dunn, 1992 Score - 90's Impact Players #46 Ruben Sierra, 1992 Score - 90's Impact Players #63 Marquis Grissom, 1992 Pro Line Portraits (football) #414 Bill Cowher (CO, RC), 1966 Topps - Rub Offs #NNO Jimmie Hall

  • 1979 Topps #558 Jay Johnstone
  • 1965 Topps #92 Dick Howser (See Trade #158)

I remember when I got these cards from Bo (Baseball Cards Come To Life!) wondering if there was going to be much interest in cards centered around the World Baseball Classic, particularly of players that aren't associated with the MLB. Turns out the answer is "no". Tao Bu has participated in 3 Classics, as well as represented Chine in the Olympics. Jay Johnstone, of course, is a true Diamond Jester and legendary prankster.

Added to my personal collection 11/02/21: 1983 Topps #70 Steve Carlton, 1990 Fleer #629 Jose Canseco (POD)

Added to the Time Travel Trade Stack 11/02/21:
  • 1987 Topps - All-Star Game Glossy #10 Dwight Gooden (See Trade #140)
  • 1980 Topps #271 Dick Drago

I have 4 copies of this card already. I don't need this one back. Someone please take it off my hands...

Lolich is best known as a Detroit Tigers legend, but did spend a single year with the New York Mets. He hated it so much he "retired" for the 1977 season to get out the last year of his contract, ran a doughnut shop, then signed as a free agent with the Padres.

Football cards...great for the Time Travel Trading Project, but not something I personally collect. Do me a solid and trade for this card please?

All it takes is an older card in return! Otherwise, these cards will be removed from the stack and done with as I see fit!

  1. I'll claim the Eagles leaders. ... This post causes me to remember that I don't think I got that 1966 J.C. Martin from a couple of Trapped In Time posts ago.

    1. You are correct, I completely forgot to send that Martin. I'll get him out with this batch of cards next week! Sorry!

  2. I'll take Johnstone, Lolich, and Drago.
Just save them for next month.
