Day made his Major League debut on his birthday, June 15, 2002. By earning the win, he became the first modern-day pitcher ever to win his MLB debut on the anniversary of his birth. Foster Griffin later accomplished the feat in 2020.
I know each of us treat birthdays a little differently. Sometimes it's special. Other times it's just another day. Gotta imagine Day's birthday
