Caught Hough's knuckle-ball
(At least tried to catch it), and
Ryan's milestone win
Besides catching Ryan's 300th career win, Petralli had the unfortunate task of catching Charlie Hough's knuckler. In 1987, he tied the record for passed balls in one inning (4), in one game (6), and set the modern-day record for passed balls in one season (35).
Interesting records. It'd be cool to have a baseball signed by Hough & Petralli.
