You guys are too good to me! I started up this Remnant series not only to highlight some Time Travel cards that have been languishing in purgatory for many years, but also as a way to keep the total amount of cards in check. As of Monday's Time Travel post, there are over 850 cards in the stack! I need to make some room, and have decided that rather than showcase 2 or 3 trades in these Remnant posts, I'm going to go in 5-trade increments. This post takes us through the 120th trade, and next month I'll show any leftover cards from trades #121-125. Chances are most posts will still have only 2 or 3 trades, but there could be as many as 5 now. We'll see how it goes.

Brendan (The View From The Third Floor) sent cards from all 4 major U.S. sports with this trade, and surprisingly it was the baseball cards that didn't generate any interest. Did you know that both of these guys were 4-time All-Stars? I didn't!
Trade #118 Bo (Baseball Cards Come To Life)
Traded
08/27/21: 2018 Panini Classics - Red Back (football) #197 John Hannah
(SN299), 2010 Topps (football) #RH44-DB Drew Brees (RH), 1966
Philadelphia (football) #159 Bobby Joe Conrad
Received 09/11/21:
- 2001 Fleer Greats Of The Game #77 Lester Lockett (See Trade #225)
- 1996 Fleer Update #U238 Tim Salmon (ENC) (See Trade #159)
- 1964 Topps #255 Lee Thomas
Personally, I don't mind vintage that has been beat up and has some wear on it. Others care about condition, which may explain why poor Lee Thomas is the lone unwanted card from this trade with Bo (Baseball Cards Come To Life!). Off-center, creases, rounded corners...all he's missing is a pen-marked mustache and eyeglasses from someone now in their seventies!
Trade #120 Jeff (Wax Pack Wonders)
Traded
09/28/21: 2019 Panini Black Friday (football) #8 Carson Wentz, 1974
Topps
#38 Don Kessinger, 1974 Visual Panographics US Presidents
(non-sport) #9 William Henry Harrison, 1971 Topps #95 Luis Tiant, 1968
Topps
#4 1967 AL RBI Leaders (Yastrzemski/Killebrew/Robinson), 1961
Topps #21 Zoilo Versalles
Received 09/28/21:
- 1992 Pro Line Portraits (football) #414 Bill Cowher (CO, RC) (See Trade #126)
- 1972 Topps #52 Harmon Killebrew (IA) (See Trade #151)
- 1972 Topps #53 Bud Harrelson (See Trade #130)
- 1966 Topps #47 J.C. Martin
- 1966 Topps - Rub Offs #NNO Jimmie Hall (See Trade #126)
- 1954 Topps #238 Al Aber (See Trade #210)
Is it me, or does anyone else see this card and think of Kevin Costner's dad in "Field Of Dreams"? The pinstriped uniform, the backwards hat, the young clean-shaven face...this card makes me want to go have a catch with my dad. Seriously, I have a look:
I don't know why, but that makes the card a million times cooler to me.
All four cards are on their way to my personal collection unless someone claims them. You know the deal by now - any older card in return will do the trick!
Good call. I definitely see the resemblance.
