There is a scene where Tom Cruise's Lt. Daniel Caffee sits and watches a baseball game while drinking a beer. Turns out he was watching a game from June 17, 1991 when Milligan hit a 2-run walk-off double against the Twins.
Interesting, now I have to go watch that movie again.
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that film since probably '92 or '93, and don't remember that scene at all. Although, to be fair to that scene, I remember very little about the rest of film as well.
