Last year, he joined Andruw Jones and Andrelton Simmons as the only natives from the Caribbean island to reach this benchmark. Fellow countryman Jurickson Profar and Ozzie Albies, both with over 700 hits, have a good chance to join them.
Mostly familiar with Schoop from a decade ago when he was a prospect and I pulled some kind of low #'d parallel or maybe an autograph of his. I was half-heartedly tracking him to see if he panned out. Guess he did :D.
