Holds N.L. record
For season-low E.R.A.
(Fifty plus innings)
In 1986, the Reds' reliever finished the season with an ERA of 0.76 - a Major League record for anyone throwing at least 50 innings. It has since been surpassed by American League relievers Dennis Eckersley (0.61), Fernando Rodney (0.60), and Zack Britton (0.54).
I avoid StatMuse like the plague, because it's more addictive than dime boxes at a card show. One click on that site can lead to killing over an hour. Very dangerous. Cool stat though.
