Sometimes it really is a small world. Winckowski attended high school in Florida about 20 minutes from the Red Sox's JetBlue Park. He attended lots of Spring Training games, but never got up close and interacted with the players, except for a random encounter with David Ortiz at a nearby suit shop.
Pretty cool. Was expecting to see Ortiz tower over Josh... but Josh was a little taller.
