As I was pondering the nature of my collection and the focus of what I want it to be, I decided at the very minimum that I would like to have the complete Red Sox team set from every Topps base set from my birth year (1975) to current. A reasonable goal, don't you think? Turns out I'm missing a lot more cards than I realized! I decided to create this page to help me keep track of what cards are missing, and to provide any potential traders of some cards I wouldn't mind receiving in return.
I'm only listing cards from the Topps base sets now. This doesn't mean I'm not
interested in other brands, inserts, parallels, etc. I'm also just listing cards
from my lifetime, which doesn't preclude me from adding the Topps Red Sox cards
from earlier either. I'm just starting off with my minimal expectations as a Red
Sox fan and collector. Once this list whittles down to a more manageable number,
I'll probably add some other cards and make this a proper want list.
