During a game against the Rangers on August 6, 1986, Dwyer helped set a record for most grand slams in a game when he hit one out in the 4th inning. It was actually the second grand slam the Orioles hit in that inning! The Orioles lost this particular slug fest to the Rangers by a score of 13-11.
