1993 was a rough year for the Padres and their fans. They shipped off McGriff to the Braves and Sheffield to the Marlins. Not sure where Gwynn was that game. He might have been hurt because the last game he played that season was on 9/5. Thankfully Billy Bean saved the Padres from being super embarrassed.
