The 1986 trade that sent Fisher from the Yankees to the Pirates is regarded as one of the greatest trades in Pirates history. Although Fisher was a serviceable spot starter for the team, winning 11 games in 1987, the reason this trade is noteworthy is because it also included future Cy Young Award winner Doug Drabek.
